"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I have been thinking about this for a couple days and wanted to gage the sage hands here.

I walked into a vitamin store the other day and notice a new cashier working and she was pretty dam hot looking. As I looked over the things in the store it seemed she offered personal information about herself without me even asking like her husband is in another state on business, where she drove from to come into work but then I check her fingers out and no ring. As I stood there looking at different items it was like she couldn't help but continue to talk to me or try and make conversation it was like I was being subduced by this lady and she wanted to screw me this was the vibe I was feeling from her as her boss was also in the store.

Long story short when she was giving me my change back I noticed unlike anything I have ever experienced with a cashier before she fingered the palm of my hand and normally cashiers sorta throw the change and bills into my hand and I couldn't help but get a rise out of it as it was so unexpected.

I was going to go for the digits but my girlfriend was in the truck in view of both of us so I didn't want her to see the exchange but I wouldn't mind a fling with this babe but I have to respect my fellow man but I didn't see her wedding ring if her husband was that important to her or if she was even married.

Tell me something.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

You are worried about respecting her husband but not your GF?

Well since you said your GF was in plain view in your vehicle, it's possible she saw you come with the girl in your truck. Women will flirt when they think there's no real opportunity for actually doing something about it, she's married, you came in with a girl, she's at work and her manager is there, etc.

Espi seems like a good plan. I'll feel things out.

Also to add when she told me where she came from to work she lives about 45 miles so it's not like she lives in the same area as me or where she works plus the fingering the palm was a bold move for a cashier to do that tells me it's more then flirting but I will feel things out when I know when she's working again.

Thanks
