"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Hi,

I have trouble smiling once I make eye contact with a girl because she usually looks away pretty quickly or I am just too nervous. I've been trying to smile at them if they keep looking but I always overthink it, like "if I smile too big it's weird but if I don't smile at all it's still weird". So I was thinking, what if you were smiling as you set your eyes on hers? Would this still be effective or do I need to force myself to not be nervous when making eye contact?

If you have no idea what I'm talking about but have any tips that is fine too.

Thanks.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

My bed, your girl.
well.. I fu*cking suck at eye contact AND smiling, but...
smile before you look at them. like when they notice you, you're already smiling.

this probably will work every time if you don't have a creepy smile!

I disagree with the above user actually. Smiling before her looking at you would mean that your smile is not directed at her. You should mantain eye contact for maybe 1-2 seconds, then give a warm genuine smile. And after that dont stop there. Open her if she smiles back. If she turns away, make fun about it. So far i've never experience a girl turning away when i smile at her genuinely.

You know smile isn't the only option you can look at her with suprise look, show her your tongue, blink one eye, etc

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
