"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Can't decipher her motives

Hello gentlemen,

I met a girl a couple months ago and we really hit it off. She is pretty awesome and a quality person. As is the norm, she has a boyfriend. I have done my best to be respectful but we still hang out fairly regularly and everything is cool.

Anyways, she called me today and invited me to go to an amusement park with her as well as her mom and sister. I really don't get her motives. I don't understand if it is a sign that she likes me, because she has plenty of girl friends that she could have asked if she was just looking to go with a friend. But at the same time her mom knows I am not her boyfriend and I feel like if she does like me, she would at least try to keep it a secret from her parents, so they don't think their daughter is cheating. In your opinion is this more likely a sign she wants me or rather that she just thinks of me as friend?

If you need more info just ask

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

That just sounds weird, in my opinion, especially since the mom is there (wtf why?) Tell her no, propose a different event, and if she says no to that, then just don't even bother with her. There are so many girls who don't have boyfriends, who are willing to hang out and fvck. Having to overcome the boyfriend obstacle is just too much work, unless you think you actually want to LTR this girl. Also you're getting way too close to friendzone territory if you go. I say forget the whole thing and sarge somewhere.

Ya, I am definitely not going. I don't need to go through the stress of meeting a girls parents if I am not even dating her. I was just more curious as to why she would ask me in the first place. I feel like I made it fairly clear through my actions that I don't plan on just being friends with her.

She could be auditioning you for a branch swing.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

How old/young are you guys?

Either way, I don't see this as a sign of attraction. Seems like more of a sign of friendship.

Anyway, you're doing the right thing by not going. If you want a girl, isolate her. Definitely don't go to amusement parks with her and her parents.

I am 22 and she just turned 20.

I feel like at this point I am either far in the friendzone or the exact opposite. Time will tell
