Anybody know what I can do to prevent it and cure it now?

I get em too sometimes. Here's what I do.

1) Listerine. 3x a day.

2) Cut out all excess sugars.

3) brush teeth after every meal. REMBRANDT has a special Canker sore toothpaste. look for it.

4) don't chew gum


but you should be doing this already.

Buy a medicine called "Kanka" it works wonders. It is a sticky substance that numbs it and you cannot feel the too much pain. It also cures the canker sore in no time.

Zilactin makes something that numbs it and puts a protective layer on top. Zilactin works perfectly, the sores won't bother you at all.

I read up on it and they said that your toothpast or alcohol from your mouthwash might cause them..or if you tear the skin in your mouth....but yeah the mouthwash thing works good for me..if you get them..swirl salty water in your mouth..kill them in no time
