The quick home test is to spit in a cup of clear water first thing in the morning before you brush. If your spit sinks, you have candida.

I had this really badly actually.,went to the doctors and they gave me some pills, which helped a little, but never got rid of the problem.

Then a friend of mine put me onto this great herbologist who prescribed:

- echinacea 400mg (3 capsules a day)
- acido phofilus ( 1 capsule at night)
- oregano capsules (1 capsule after lunch)

ALternate each one for 15 days at a time and candida does not stand a chance.

Try to avoid dairy (yogurt is ok) and sweets if you can and eat lots of vegies and fragrant herbs like thyme, cilantro, dill, parsley, rosemary, etc.

Disclaimer: I am not a doctor, just a nutrition freak who solves most of his problems with diet and supplements.

No shyt bro. I realized I had this since I was about 14. All the french toast with peanut butter and syrum. Candida heaven. Basically following the chinese diet, 2000 years of documented facts about food and health. And the chinese have known about candida for a long time before the west. I feel great now.

Yeast contains alot of bacteria we don't need. That's why I consume very little sugar, baked goods, and cheese. People who eat TONS of that stuff get constipated, headaches, irritable bowels, colon cancer, huge guts, etc.....forget that!
