Can you imagine a society if we start paying people to dress a certain way?

I mean it would shift the mentality and mindset of the culture a certain way. I mean I would love for the 50's to go back where Men acted like Men and dressed up in blazers and fedora hats. Can you imagine a society where dudes dressed in fedora hats all the time, the kids wearing flat caps and something classy and the women dressed up femininely in skirts and dresses with classy hats? The restaurants and food reflect how we dress and act, I mean look at McDonalds man, can you imagine a connoisseur of a dude dressed up in decent blazer and fedora hat attire go eat out at a modern McDonalds on a weekday? Lol he would look out of place. Well that's just my day dreaming rant for today lol.

I always wondered how guys could stand the heat walking around in those suits in the middle of summer back in the days before air conditioning was common. I don't think people showered everyday back in those days either.

Hats can look cool, but I've always thought they were fairly useless pieces of clothing, unless you work outdoors and want to keep the sun out of your eyes. Or if you want to hide that you're bald.

That's because you don't know their true purpose! Back in the day crap was thrown out of windows. Hats were there so that crap don't hit you in the head. You have no idea how useless they were back in the day!

And imagine what it must have smelled like in places like New York City where there were tens of thousands of horses in the late 1800s pulling carriages, etc around and basically walking across streets covered several inches deep in horse manure...

And then when it rained...

Eventually it got to the point where they would have needed 250 modern day garbage trucks a day just to clean up horse manure and they just couldn't keep up.

Go look up pics with horse manure piled a long the sides of streets and on sidewalks 10 feet high...

Those days weren't all they were cracked up to be.

Its seems that most people dress however they want today. I prefer it that way. It lets me easily distinguish between those that care and have pride and those who don't.

A Society's fashion is a reflection of it's mentality. If we had more people dressing up in a classy manner, maybe there'd be more classier, more compassionate and well sought out people in our communities man. We'd have less dead beat dads that's for sure and less people committing crimes because good values would be represented externally. Read the Book Psycho Cybernetics to know what I mean.
