Hey guys,
Since I'm new on the forum, I'll start with a simple introduction of myself, feel free to skip this part if you have little time or genuinely don't give a damn. I'm an 18-year old virgin that vowed that I will increase the quality of my life on all fronts. For now, I'm planning to improve in school, sports, popularity and, of course, dating.
I'll also say right from the start that although I do want a better life, my life as it is right now isn't THAT bad:
- I have a pretty decent amount of friends. (Less than in my previous school, but ok.)
- I'm a writer, and I occasionally get gigs to write for others. (Again, less than before, but most contacts watered after being forced to be inactive.)
- I have somewhat above average grades, but nothing WOW. (Plus, I failed two grades, had to change subjects in each one because of random ****.)
- I have 5-10 hot female friends that I regularly converse with and can freely soft kino. (I had someone else in tunnel vision sight at that time, so I didn't really care much for them.)
Hmm, reading it over, I take it back, I'm pretty sure I'm at a low in my life.
Worst is, a few years back I was THE man. Tons of friends, lots of enemies. (I love those.), easily got high grades, multiple girls who wanted me, and at one school I was at as a 1st year I even had a freaking fanclub, with a bombshell HB9 Asian 2nd year as it's founder, who later became my gf
. (Yeah, I went to a lot of different schools, I move a lot.)
I've always seen life somewhat like a game rpg. That's roleplaying game btw. (Noticed someone wrote something similiar on the forum, great coincidence, should make explaining much easier.)
What do I mean with this? In an rpg, you start a game in which you are someone else, and generally you start with horrible conditions, no friends, no job, no skill, no gf, nothing. And it's your job to change that into becoming a perfect popular stud who earns way too much in a certain timespan. While this type of rpg generally is endlessly clicking to raise your stats the right way and socialise in the meantime. It can be compared to real life. (It's based on it, duh.)
There is one big difference though. When you try to keep levelling and become better, you have to choose the best options and slowly build your way up. We do miss a few options though, no matter how much you search, you don't see the option to:
- Sit on the couch all day.
- Browse Facebook.
- Whatever else that doesn't contribute to life improvement.
That's when I noticed something: You will never improve when you're wasting time.
It sounds so damn simple, but we still don't do it. You won't become an expert with woman without talking to one. You won't get popular without meeting people. You won't become smart without ever doing research.
When we talk forever to a girl in game, do we always get the same positive reactions? In a good game, no. She will laugh, she will get angry, she sometimes just won't care. But you learn from that and know what to say next time. You gain experience by putting time into something, and eventually reap the rewards.
The main character keeps working endlessly towards his goal until he can't even stay awake, goes to sleep, and continues when he's up. While this is an extreme version, we should strive to get this determination. We should also have at least one thing in our life that is so important, that going on Facebook would be the most boring thing you could think of. (What? You want me to come on Facebook? Can't I go tomorrow, I want to finish writing this.)
tl:dr's can start from here.
I'm not sure if this is important, but I've been crushing on a single girl in my class for months now, but she's extremely hard to read. Even though she got a new bf a week before I met her, she's been all over me short after and was flirting with me more than her bf even though we're all in the same class.
At one point she started joking about stealing my gum and kissing me and stuff, but when she tried to kiss me, she was in the middle of the park, and I don't even remember how, but I knew her bf was behind me and that she didn't see him. Being not enough of an ass to steal her in such a way, I pretended to move in just to hug and got let her head lean on my shoulder instead.
She probably took that as a rejection, and since she wanted out of the relationship anyways, she decided to cheat with another dude in my class
.
This basically ruined my game and caused a lot of other problems, but I still kind of like her even though I'm still having trouble forgiving her for that, now we barely even talk.
You could say this is my way of getting her jealous and wanting me again, but on the other hand, I might forget all about her before the month is over. (Although I doubt that.)
Either way, I feel like I'm wandering off the actual topic and going too deep into this. I'm basicly pushing the reset button of life, and starting all over. Straight to level 1. (No, I won't be leaving the house naked in my underpants.)
Naturally, my goal is to achieve max level on all my current subjects, but the one I'll need you professionals for is dating, and maybe popularity, since they're strongly connected in certain environments.
I need you guys to help me create assignments I have to pass to gain a level. Focus on making the experience build up. Like you start with relatively easy missions, but keep increasing the difficulty until level 100.
Knowing that every one of you here is unique, and has different views and experiences, I understand that some will make the assignments too easy, and others too hard, but I'll try to collect as much information as possible and create something that's balanced, and might even be used by others in the future if it works out.
Since it would be too much to ask for you guys to write from level 1 all the way to level 100, I'd like to start collecting data on what would be the assignments from level 1-10. I shouldn't be able to do a lot of levels too fast, even though it's early on. But it also shouldn't be something that would take 2 weeks.
I'll give you guys a quick example. Remember, this may seem like too much, too little or just right to some, and something else to another, It's just a base that can be freely molded to your liking.
Here it goes:
Level 1
Level 2
Level 3
Level 4
Level 5
Level 6
Level 7
Level 8
Level 9
Level 10
As I said, this is just an example, feel free to add and remove assignments, change amounts and difficulties, I'll need as much as possible DJ's on this, really appreciate all the help and feedback.
