"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Ive come to realize that whenever we (me and my gf) get into an argument her best friend--a girl--(which is also a very good friend of mine) begins to do some kind of c0ckblock.

Like shell be like this guys is freakin ghey, dont talk to him for a while, lol pretty much shvt i read on this site she tells her to do on me.

My girl is a very sweet and humble chick, and she loves me to death but her friend needs a :trouble: eventhough shes a good friend of mine whose also in a relationship with another friend of mine.

My question is how should i bring this up to my girl, making her take my side more than her best friend. By me saying "take my side" i mean to have her juss keep our shvt between me and her.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Missery loves company. Obviously your girl's friend isn't happy in the relationship with your friend and she'll try to make everybody around her miserable as well.

Other than that you answered you question in your last paragraph.

Shes probably one of those fuking people who needs the undivideed attention of he friends.

You should tell your girlfriend that anything that happens in your relationship is between you two only, so she shouldnt do anything her friend says.

Im not saying they cant talk about it, but your gfs friend should not have any executive power in your relationship.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Hahaha, get real. Not going to happen. She'll tell anyone whatever and whenever she wants. Then she'll listen intently and allow her decisions to be greatly affected by what others say.

Dude, if she's pulling sh1t like ignoring you because she's mad at you at the behest of her friend why are you going out with her? Are you guys 12? What freakin mature adult pulls the "i'm going to ignore you to show you i'm mad" game?

I HATE relationship question in these forums, thats what Ann Landers is for.

However, If you're friends with GF'sFriend, talk to your GF first. Ask her what her opinion is on GFFriend always saying bad things about you when you two are fighting. Then if she agrees, you both talk to GFFriend and say along the lines of 'You're a great friend blah blah blah, but we don't get why when we fight you have nothing but bad things to say about Charm&Style.'

Lol ****, that sounded better in my head. You and your girlfriend just need to have a united front to confront her with. Then ask the GF if she's open to a threesome cause maybe GFFriend is just lonely, horny and jealous.

If she doesn't have a mind of her own and her gf's opinion would change her mind about you, then she's not worth it.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

You implied it here anyway. If she's not listening to what her dumbfvck friend tells her to do why do you give a damn anyway?

Jesus christ you people make everything so difficult.

That's why I say she must be miserable in her relationship with your friend cause she's all in your sh!t trying to push a wedge between you and your girl. On the flip side, it could be your girl telling her things about you that you're not in the "Know" about.

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
