"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Rewind to about a week ago, it was a normal shopping day at sprouts. I notice an amazing looking brunette. I went right up to her and said "your hair is completely stunning". She looked appreciative and said "thanks!". Then, I went about my business.

This is a first for me, I don't normally do this.

Fast forward to 15 minutes ago. I get out of my car to find her pushing carts. I'm not having the best day, so I try to avoid her. So my pace quickens as I walk to the store. Her pace quickens faster, and then she's right along side of me. I try to speed up, then she almost runs and cuts right in front of me to get into the store giving me an amazing shot of her beautiful hair.

I'm feeling a bit orbited today, pardon me.
Why giving her a complainment and then going to your own business?
Its not TOO bad to give a complainment, but it have to lead somewhere, you should have somehow continued the conversation.

I forbird you giving away complainments without a purpose, you just make this world even more beta man...

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

What you did right:
Genuine compliment with no need for reciprocation. Whatever you were feeling didn't matter, she intepreted as a sign of authenticity and confidence.

What you did wrong:
Not closing the deal after she put herself into your orbit.

Beta is giving compliments with a purpose to get in her pants. I suggest you learn the difference.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

You can possibly have other chances to close her. Just don't make it seem forced or needy. I'm sure you will see her again and you can give her a smile and talk (again don't force it or seem needy)

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Had a chick at a coffee shop who worked there. She came in the coffee shop for a meeting had to wait, luckily I had the only table available. She asked if she could sit down, I said sure. I went about my business reading, then we both overheard something funny glanced and smiled at each other. Small talk ensued, but to be really honest.....I didn't even know she was old enough to be gamed. She looked so young (16, 17) and I don't roll that way unless I know they are 18 for sure. Sure enough she was 18 and in college we small talked she went to her meeting.

I didn't close, but I plan to now my point is its not do or die with every woman you meet.

In my experience the next time I see them they are then unavailable or I never see them again. Fortune favors the bold, very true sentiment.

This is where I disagree, but I do see the point of it. I just think its different every situation and I have personal experiences to prove it (to myself)

Providence...because neediness and impatience are unattractive. Time will tell.

You all, are a needy bunch these days.

Slow down, relax and enjoy it. She'll appreciate it.

Eye contact, relaxed laid back smile...followed by "How's your day going?"

I'm no longer amazed how far this can take me. It never seems to fail.
simple and effective...definately my style!

Thanks!

I know this isn't your point, but is there a girl alive who has never dyed her hair?

On a related note, what percentage of women out there at any given time do you suppose are sporting their completely natural hair color (no frosting, lightening, nothing)? By the way, I would bet that most of those natural girls are brunette.
Yes, I'm going back to see her tonight, planning to ask for her number. Also, my banker at Wells Fargo has her natural hair color. I estimate about 1 in 20 women (95% brunette) qualify. They love when you notice. It has a natural shine that can't be faked.

Pass, I like to take things at my own pace. Which is, dead fuking slow.
She's already shown you she's into you. Take it slow ad she will be DYING for you to ask her out. Be sure to notice her at least 2 of every 3 trips. You got this, if you want it.

update:

She's still orbiting. She seemed respectful and well behaved. My response was "hello again"... she smiled.

It so fun to go slow... maybe I just like the attraction stage the most, savoring all the moments. I can do this for a few months. Maybe, by that time, I'll have more of my sh!t together.

she'll lose interest in like a week if you don't do anything

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
