Okay so there is this girl I have been trying to get with. She is the type of girl that I would like to see where things go, good or bad.

For the background information this is it: She was with this jock type guy for close to 8 months. They recently broke up for what ever reason. She said that he wont take her back. I told her she is really attached to him. She said that she is trying to be 100% devoted to him. Even though she cheated on him (with me). She also said he is pestering her for sex, which just adds fuel to the fire here.

So I want to know what you guys think I should try to get this girl. I was thinking of playing her up with, 'Hey lets make him jealous, and he will come back' type of thing. I took into account if he does come back that it may end. So this is an experiment to the end. If it ends badly okay, lesson learned, if not how can I apply this further?

So tell me what you think I should do to get this girl. I want to know how to break this stupid 'obsession' with this guy and any other guy that may come up in the future.

No. That sounds like you think he's better than you so you're underhanded. I'd be better than that guy and it would be her trying to manipulate me into being jealous (probably what she is doing to you) so I'd just be sexy as. Then I'd say something suave like "Hey, screw him."

EDIT: I'd calibrate though.
