"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

If any of you have seen this show, you know what a pathetic, "macho", ass kissing piece of garbage Danny Bonaduce is.

He is the epitome of what to NOT act like with a woman. Before your very eyes, you can see the behavior that drives women away. His marriage is crumbling, and he doesn't understand that acting jealous and begging for forgiveness are the main causes. (A long with his alleged rampant alcoholism and possible drug use)

I suggest you guys check this show out on VH-1.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Good show. When lucid, Danny is actually very insightful. Unfortunately he always seems to need some type of reassurance from his wife who has forsaken her life for him. He always seems to need to be in control of his surroundings as if to validate himself. When he doesn't get his way he goes completely AMOG even ripping off his shirt at times to posture himself. Kinda makes sense why he felt like he needed to take steroids. Talk about a good example of a guy who has lost complete control of himself.

I think Danny is a classic example of "short man syndrome". He's only 5'6, and instead of being comfortable with himself, he became an expert in the martial arts and started using steroids to pump up.

I think your observation about him needing to be in control is quite accurate. Behind all that alpha male posturing, I think Danny is a very insecure guy. I do agree that he is extremely insightful and quite intelligent.
