Braces ~ teeth

Hi there, my teeth are kinda baddish. The bottom ones are fine but the top front 4 are dodgy shape and a bit wonky. I know i could just get braces but

- going on holiday with friends in June
- startin Uni in Sept

I dont mind the teeth as such although im not always as comfortable smiling and showing em off (the front 2 can only be seen kinda like bugs bunny but not that bad)

I wouldnt mind braces its just i dont want to go on holiday with them, and especially start university where i know no one with braces. plus if i got em now then went to manchester then i would have to find another dentist.

Any advice guys im a bit torn both ways

You could always look into some veneers. I have no idea what the prices are for them, but if you don't want to deal with braces, its an option.

Truthfully..if i was you i would get the braces....Obviouslly your teeth are hurting your self esteem... I do not think braces will hurt your game either.. I actually find certain girls with braces sexy...

actually forget veneers, they are literally stick on teeth which i do not want. Plus people could notice if i turned up with perfect teeth after seeing them the day before with my normal teeth

There will always be excuses for putting it off. You could compromise by doing it in July after the holiday but before school starts.

Forget veneers, too expensive. Just have your dentist file your 2 front teeth down a bit.

Just go for it. You will be so happy you did.

I was really afraid people would make fun of me when I got braces (I'm 18) but no one did, not even people who I don't get along with.

And don't worry about them being a pain in the azz, they really aren't. If people tell you that braces are, they're exaggerating.

Just remember to get an electric toothbrush and use Listerine after every brushing.
