"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Now, before you shred me to pieces and call me a worthless WAFC I have to clarify:

I have no romantic interest what so ever.
I did it to show my gratitude because she worked very hard last week to get me home when I was stranded abroad due to the flight cancellations here in Europe. God knows how many days of trouble she saved me.

She was so touched she almost cried.

She helped some of my colleagues too but they barely thanked her.

Sometimes it's important to support the ones that support you. An unexpected gesture of gratitude goes a long way.

Cheers

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Nothing wrong with that. Good for you. Gratitude is always appreciated once it is made known.

You sir, are a God!

You're the kind of guy that people will kill themselves for. Praise (when it's deserved) is a very powerful motivator of future favors.

She's probably earned 500 bouqets of roses over the years and you're the only one bold enough to give them to her. She will not forget this!

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Good for you! Always appreciate the things people do for you. We are usually selfish and take things for granted

Good job . Being genuinely grateful, and rewarding a woman's efforts is manly, not AFCish.

If the situation had been different, and you had bought her roses simply to trigger some interest in you hoping to entice her to go out with you, then THAT would have been a chump move.

I'm not exactly sure why the OP posted this. I've sent thank-you cards to women in business situations before, and they were pleased, but me sending a thank-you card after a date would be weird beyond comprehension.

Non-dating interactions are vastly different than dating interactions. Which is why when you (or the situation you're in) let a woman know you're NOT hitting on her, her whole demeanor changes.

be gentle and "nice" are two different things.

If you buy roses to thank her for her help I can just say YES.

If you buy roses to get her approval in purpose she would fall in love with you, then you get a NO.

yesterday at the supermarket of my area, I was at the milk section getting some bottles of fat-free milk. Then a lady was waiting besides me (to get the same kind of milk). I just gives her mines (and 2 other ones). She was so surprized by and thanked me with a great smile.

cheers

It's fine to show your gratitude, but why roses? It does not fit the situation, there are a million other ways to show your gratitude.

That would be like me giving my female friend purfume or a diamond necklace for her birthday, it's not the right gift for *friends.* Those are more intimate gifts reserved for lovers.

I bet you she was more embarassed by the gift than flattered by it.

Absolutely not!

You know, roses come in many colors and variants. Just avoid the red!
