1. Yes, get used to it kiddo. If it inhibits your progress then use a towel or something but you'll get used to it after a while.

2. Anything compound you can make progress on (i.e. up the weight steadily in safe form) is good - so yes, they're fine.

3. Yes, myprotein.co.uk is where I get my protein from. Excellent service and good quality stuff. Can't be beat for the basics: protein, creatine, dextrose etc. though their vitamins/herbal supps (i.e. green tea extract) are a tad overpriced.

Bulkpowders doesn't seem any cheaper than myprotein.. though their 20kg whey deal is better than myprotein's at the moment; also any site that sells Black Star flavourings is bound to be a good one. I recommend the fruit punch or chocolate.

thanks for reply. Ive gone for the bulkpowders site :p

and im doing dumbell squats until i cant fit any more weight onto them then ill get a squat stand.
