How do people measure there body fat?

Was just looking for a half decent set of scales and some of them actually zap you and tell you your body fat % .... are they accurate or is there some other method?

They are not especially accurate, the only purpose they will serve is to give an idea off the change you make in BF%.

Most people I have met use calipers, you pinch your fat layer on specific places at the body and calculate the amount off fat you have.
