"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Hey Folks,

A buddy of mine's girlfriend has set me up a blind date for later this week. I saw a pic of the girl and she looks cute. She is a sorority girl and i'm not exactly the fraternity type (really not even close). I've never been on a blind date before. Not really worried, i'm going to try to loosten up and act my self. Any advice on blind dates from anyone? Please, if you are going to be an as$hole and flame this thread please don't even respond.

Also, I have a huge crush on this other girl. see the post:

Should i tell her about this blind date to make her jelous or whatever?

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

I hope it's short and simple. No mini-golf or para-sailing. There might be zero chemistry. Just set aside 45 minutes to talk over coffee or a salad, to see if you can stand eachother.

Go right ahead. I can't imagine it doing any good.

If you end up dating this girl regularly, that might make your crush interested. Even then, I doubt it.

Just went on my blind date. I think it went over all good. Got dinner with the couple that set us up and then went and got some coffee. The girl was really sweet. I couldn't get a great vibe on chemistry, but i didn't get any negative vibes from her. When I was dropping her off at her sorority house, I just stopped in the parking lot. I kind of wish i would have walked her to the door. But I asked he if she wanted to get together next week and she said yes and then i got her number and gave her a hug while still in the car. she was like "call me whenever you have time next week so we can get together". Sorry guys if i bored you all by posting this but i wanted to tell someone how my date went, lol.

any comments?
