The funny thing about marriages is that most athletes and people who have alot of money get married young. Very rarely will you see a billionaire or a pro athlete who was not married at least once.

I wonder why that is? An athlete or a billionaire can get pu$$y when he is 55 yet he decides to get married at 25.

It's sad that the writer believes that there is a simplicity about marriage if you're not married. Every aspect identified as a concern for the wealthy should be a concern for anyone getting married.

I think it was Chris Rock who pointed out that it really sucks if you make $30 million and have to give have to your wife in a divorce, but you still have $15 million. Compare that to if you make $30 thousand and have to give away half. The guy who still has $15 million will have a tad bit easier time than the guy with $15 thousand would be my guess.

Marriage isn't about Love !!!! its an insurance policy for women if either of you decide to split up, and if you were foolish enough to have kids, there gonna get used like weapons to milk you for even more of your hard earned cash.

Wow, I hope I can use the "I didn't have proper legal representation" and "A napkin is not valid for use when writing out a legally binding contract" excuse when someone sues me. What a crock of bull$****. Just goes to show what women can get away with playing the role of VICTIM. Isn't a NAPKIN made form the same tree as a piece of paper?

That said, what's the difference between 30 BILLion and 15 billion? To these guys a divorce has no more effect on their lifestyle than 18 holes of golf on the public course on a Sunday afternoon.

Still....it's the PRINCIPAL goddammit. It's just not right.

You should see what Tom Cruise worked out with Katie before they married. He had a good lawyer. Katie could get monetary benefit from the marriage but it'll only be a set fraction of Tom's worth and there are time stipulations attached. Hey, it's nothing against her, it's just business...
