I'm bored of a plate, and want to stop hanging out with her 1 on 1, banging her etc - I've just had enough, and want to spend the time with other plates, on hobbies and looking for new plates etc. However, we have quite a few mutual friends, and I'd like to do it without any drama. I think she will be surprised and probably a bit upset, but can't quite think of the best way to phrase it do she is as cool with it as possible, for my benefit with regards to the people we know.
Simply going ghost is easy of course, but will make it awkward to hang out with people she is friends with, and is a cowardly way out. Normally I am direct with people, but saying "I am just bored of banging you" does not feel like the best way forward here. If I say "Let's just be friends," she will be like, isn't that what we are anyway? Or "I don't see it going any further," well neither does she as far as I am aware, and won't address the issue of me basically not wanting to hang out just the two of us and bang any more.
So how do you tell a plate you won't be banging her any more without her thinking you are a d!ck? Open to suggestions..
