Whichever you choose, stick with it for a while and your body will adjust.

I used to lift in the evening and I thought people who lifted in the morning were nuts. The mornings were my supposed low energy period...

Howerver, I was in an accident last year and didn't start lifting until January again. I started in the morning, lightly, and have been steadily increasing. I'm a morning guy now. I can't even imagine coming home after work and lifting. That is my new downtime!

It's a matter of training your body to adjust.
