here is the deal. if you are still thinking about your old oneitis, she is winning.
I had a oneitis who brought me here in 02. You know what is sweet as ****? knowing that in 02, I would have cut my left foot off to have a "chance" with her.
and (true, 100% story) tonight, I happen to be a state away from my hometown (i live in del mar, I am from arkansas and I was in kentucky) so I took a flight home with my GF so she can see where i'm from, we can go to some of my old familar spots and what not.
so i catch a flight home, we grab a rental, go to my crib that I haven't been to in about 6 months and I check my messages, and my old oneitis has left literarly 70 messages wanting me to call her when I get the messages.
So i call her and she goes into her little childish rant about her guys about how they all want her, blah blah, and she wants to see me, basically to get confirmation that I still want her, so she comes over and we all have drinks, and a couple of other friends and everyone meets my GF, and I can literarly see the look in my old oneitis' eyes... the party is over.
Not only did she realize I not want her, she realizes that the woman I'm with is a better catch than she is, just as hot, in better shape, has a better job and I couldn't be happier.
You want to know what the Best Revenge is? a flustered old oneitis trying everything in her peanut brain to get an emotion/positive remark out of you. it's the food she has lived off of for the last 5 years. Now that she's not 18 any more, and while still easy on the eyes, the cheeks are a little bigger and the high cheekbones are gone because she doesn't watch what she eats... where she had a 6 pack in high school there is a tenny tinny ounze of fat on that waste line because she wouldn't know what a healthy meal is like if it feel in her lap.
You know what the best revenge is? The mornings I drag myself out of bed to swim for 2 miles and do setups and crunches 5/6 days a weeek, and she can't stop looking at me and commenting on how good I look.
You know what the best revengae is? her finding out the number she's been calling is to a lan line to a house that I haven't been to in half a year because I have another one 2 blocks away from the beach that's 3x more expensive.. not that she didn't know i had a little money..
The best revenge is her looking at me, knowing.. the nights I told her what I wanted to do with my life, how much I love my passion, and I laid out the blue print to my life, exaclty what was going to take place. and all thoose nights she was too caught up in which guy was going to take her out, which guy was going to cry on the phone to her to give a damn about anything I said.. and here, years later, verbatium, I'm doing what I set out to do. while she is still stuck at the same intern job she was stuck at when I left and still dating the VP of the compaines son.
you know what the best revenage is? lol, me knowing it would have been a mistake dating her. And her knowing that I am, and have, lol, honestly done better.

And After I drop her back off at home, ROTFL, becuase her 25 BF is on PUNISHMENT, my GF tells me "I think she likes you"... lol, and I look at her and bust out laughing, because her and I both see how much of a downgrade that would be.
