Best place to go on holiday?

Where have you guys been that was the BEST place in the world (literaly) to go to when on holiday? I'm looking for answers based on experiance.

Yeah, for me it would be either A) a wild exotic beach B) some lonely forested mountains C) europe. My plan is to go to C and visit both A and B.

Man, seriously, you should definatly check out Kos.

I was there for 2weeks (drunk every day of course ) and I can say honestly that it was the best vacation ever. Don't bring along chicks, go there with some good mates that knows how to have a good time, and I can gurantee you that it will be the best time of your life.

They have this big old ship that goes island-hopping all day/night. You pay ~50Euros, which includes food and all you can drink. It's basically a huge ass orgy, everybody gets totally smashed all day and when the night comes there this huge ass crazy party on the ship.

I was constantly drunk for 2weeks, thats the only solution if you want to avoid some nasty hangovers. I had a bottle of jeigermeister standing on my night table, and first thing after i woke up, I'd take a huge sip. It was totally sweet.

And there's this long (~1km) main bar street, that is just PACKED with bars. There are hot loose chick all over the place. Totally totally sweet.

I gotta warn you though. 2 weeks in Kos more than enough. After that 'vacation' i needed another one just to recover from Kos.

DrMetallica: Yeah i was thinking of going to Europe for abit, but then i thought it would be too common, i wanted something "different" (I have been to Europe before.. I lived there for 2 years) But ya, its a really nice place

Centaurion: I did some research on the place and it looks like a really nice place to go to.... I'm seriously considering going there now, looks awesome One question though... For those 2 weeks, how much money did you spend?

Keep in mind that I was there 3years ago, but if I remember correctly I spent around ~ 1000-1500Euro. I'm not totally sure on the amount, but I remember spending alot cause I'm a kinda guy that spends alot of money on booze, food and gadgets

Thats a decent price for 2 weeks of non-stop partying! Shweet man... I think I might just go there.... Now all i gotta do is get some friends to come with... I wanna go with around 4 or 5 friends, and maybe take my girl with me too (If I'm still with her) Thanx again man... appreciated

NO don't go with a girl. Kos is a place where you go with the guys to get laid everyday. Bringing a girl will only add a huge ass of emotional drama.

Damn, I wouldn't even ever imagine i'd get bored with europe... so much history, so much culture, so many clubs, so many babes... maybe you were living in the british isles which bored you to death? Don't get me wrong, my father is a british citizen and my mother is an irish citizen...

Best place I ever to vacation to was Hawaii. Theres generally a decent variety (considering) there depending on which island you are on. i.e. Big Island is less cowarded and more of a family vacation/somewhat of a honeymoon destination, Maui is a bit more cowarded and but it is also a bit more of a family vacation/ honeymoon destination, Kaui is almost never cowarded, but has lots of good scenary, and Oahu is the "party" island, but is the most cowarded.

Nicaragua/Belize in Central America are great places to go. Secluded, yet beautiful.

Hawaii is nice,

St. Lucia in the carribean is also a lot of fun.
Central America is the best I've been to so far.

Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. It's right on the Red Sea... I'll be diving in its waters come June for my 2nd trip there... it's one of the top 10 scuba locations in the world, and with good reason.

Then again, you could check out the British Virgin Islands... Virgin Gourda to be specific. I didn't check out the diving, but the sights and boulders were amazing. Snorkeling was so-so, nothing compared to Sharm.

If you're not much for the water, check out Amsterdam. I'll be there in early June as well for 4 days, 5th or 6th trip (after a few they all just blur together...) Great "scenery" and excellent... ummm... yeah.

Layla: aaahhhh.. The Caribians is one placeI HAVE to go to in my lifetime.. I have heard some really nice stories about it and I wanna experiance it too sometime... What were some of the things that you did there though?

diablo: Egypt sounds interesting, and I went on a few scuba diving outings in the past, great fun! But other than that and the views etc, what else is there to actually DO there? (clubs? bars? women?)
