When I first got into weightlifting and bodying building. I took a afterschool class in high school for weightlifting/power training. Our teacher was a man of experience, winning several strong lift competions so, who not better to learn from?

I learned to do Bent-Over Barbell Rows with my knees bent and my back parallel to the floor. A more 90 degree angle. Purpose of the Exercise: to thicken the upper back and to a lesser degree; add density to the lower back.

Nowadays, I see guys bent over at only around 45 - 60 degrees. Was there some scientific change that took place? Does it not matter how much you bend over. As long as you body is over the bar?

Thoughts?
