You can add weight and reps just by following this advice. Good post Quik. I know many people who need to should watch this.

That maybe true if you train in Powerlifting.

Otherwise he is saying what Rippletoe is teaching to the public (for general strength training) is wrong.

Remember that elbow depth is also dependent on grip width, since most people dont use a wide grip like PLers, that might explain why the elbow depths are often lower.

By teaching people to increase their grip width, which decreases the ROM, of course you're going to put up more weight.
