Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

There are 2 kinds of people in this world.

People who are motivated by what they DO want and people who are motivated by what they DONT want.

95% are motivated by what they dont want.

"I dont want to be a looser", "I dont want to be fat", "I dont want to be picked on", etc, etc, etc.

You may think at this time that you get motivataed by what you do want, but think carefully about it. Is that true?

Believe.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

nice post sammo something to think about when i get bored or would probably make for a good conversation with a girl

Me: If you were to think real hard about it would you say you were motivated by what you want for yourself or what you don't want? I mean when people are cruel to you or make fun of you are you motivated to go forward in life, or would you rather just reach to the future? With me I think I would be motivated by what I do want in life. I mean it just makes you feel so much more fulfilled when its not the circumstances around you that affect you, but what you do want for you future you know?
(example of how I would use it in a convo)

its a fair idea, but dont bring it up to soon. its some pretty heavy stuff, and while it will make you look quite inteligent, if you bring it up too early you will scare her off. its best left untill a little later in the relationship

I would never talk to a girl about this.

Look in to it a little deeper. You may THINK your motivated by what you do want but is what you want dictated by society? (IE. dictated by what you dont want)
