Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

Fellas, how do u all feel about being friends with someone you used to be involved with? Personally, I could not do it becasue if I talk to my exes, the AFC in me would come out and it would only set me back from meeting other women.. What do u all think?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

I'd only recommend being friends with an ex in very special situations. If you're in such a situation, you'll know it. But odds are you're not. Stay away.

Well nothing's bad about it. But there is a saying that, if you keep doing what you've been doing, you'll keep gettng what you've been getting. If you really want to make friends with your exes (many huh). then do it right.

Add a spice, flirt, be coky and funny, and forget what drove you out of the line. Because even though its a past, they might consider it if you flert like hell. And its a very big chance you'll get laid.

or you can Buy an eBook written by Marius Panzurella or Ross jeffries, or David DeAngelo. A great start for you.

You can if both parties have completely gotten over their past feelings and truly enjoy other's company. And therein lies the problem most people can't bury their feelings regardless of how long the relationship has been over.

Bottomline friendships with exs never go anywhere because there are residual feelings that always seem to f everything up.

Totally agree with the past feelings thing. The way I see it, the only time you'll be friends is when the breakup is very amicable, which I feel in most cases doesn't happen. However, first time for everything, I just stopped dating a girl, and we literally broke things off when they were going well. Hooked up again once afterwards, and now things are well. I just went over to her house yesterday to watch movies, and nothing happened (although it might have had I pushed it).

The way it is is thatif you've done it before together, the likelihood of you guys doing it again is that much greater, even though she might not think it's a good idea.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

history repeats itself

Someone will always have feelings and it will never work.im no friends with any of my x's. When im done, im done. All contact is cut off.....but some time down the road she will always always call to see how your doing. But if you want to be her emotional tampon, go head and be her friend.

Never pursue a woman to be her friend. DJ's pursue to tap that azz.

I gotta say that this is highly situational. I have a couple of ex's that I still talk to quite often. But they weren't anything serious for me anyways. I do not call or rarely talk to an ex LTR's though.

It depends on what you had and how it stopped. I mean if you dated a girl for 4 yrs and it ended bad than no you cant be friends. If this ex was a 2 month fling and you realized that you weren't compatible and just broke it off honestly than you can. In the latter situation I have formed some pretty good friendships.

You don't need a female friend especially one who knows you too well. Give her a goodbye, if she wants to try it again, she will do crawling.

Ah - The only ex I really talk to is my daughter's mommy. Good thing she lives 12 hours away. I hated that girl with a fiery passion for a couple years, now we can joke around and get along just fine....probably has to do with the fact that I have full custody and she feels the need to kiss my ass.

She still has the hots for me, though. She's married now, and she's always saying how she wants to come up and f*ck or get back together or some other crap that I won't do.
