"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

How do you guys handle being blown off? I got blown off tonight. Girl wanted to hang out, said she wanted to sleep first, so i called her when she said. Then she said call back in 30, so i did, and no answer, whatdya know.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I wouldn't say guilt her into feeling bad she blew you off, but sometimes that's the only way to get sincerity out of people.

But really, she blew you off cuz she was tired. If she was truthful about it, then maybe she was either in a rare situation where she was really tired OR she just didn't have enough interest.

Reschedule again, and if she blows you off the second time, tell her to find someone else lol. (not in those words, but you can figure something out)

why do you want him to call again to be blown off again?

what you need to do is forget about this girl and wait to see if she calls you and apologizes. Then it is up to you whether you accept the apology and give her another chance, or you take revenge by blowing her off! if she calls you and doesn't even mention the incident or doesn't apologize, I would just get revenge and say something like give me a call, and then give her a taste of her own medicine and do what she did to you.

i've blown so many of my friends off for the dumbest reasons, and i never called to cancel on them, and i'm the one that set up the plans lol

but i can tell you what i've never done.

i've NEVER blown off a girl that i was into, and that would be likewise for a girl that was into you.

Sleep? please you got the rest of your life to get some sleep and when you die you'll have plenty of that

I'm with christz on this one. Last girl I was seeing, I asked her to come to Atlantic City with me. She had just gotten home from Atlanta after partying all night, tired as hell, plus she lost her ATM card so she couldn't get any money for gambling, and she STILL drove 2 hours from her house in VA to mine in MD so she could go with me.

If she's late to a date, call her up. If she isn't apologetic and doesn't ask for a second chance, she is either ignorant, unreliable, or not interested. In either case, she's history.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

yeah, squirrles hit the nail on the head, but also one other thing don't confuse her intrest as she wants to date you, i mean i've known girls that weren't wholely intrested in a dude but right after work on a closeing shift went to his house.

and i've also made the mistake of a girl hangin out with me on a constant basis that she was really into me. lol boy did that backfire, when i was like lets take it up a level haha good times.. :p

squirrels post should be a guideline for guys trying to get dates from a girl. If a girl was wholesomely interested in you, she would use the words "maybe we can meet up next week or how about this day." - I wouldn't go for the "persistent" route like many hopeful rationalizing guys out there as you become the beggar than the "prize." There's a million fish out there, if you're not the catch, there will be another fish out there for you.
