- Story is that he was paranoid and stalking his ex-girlfriend (the murder victim) for months after she broke up with him, colleagues noticed him acting strange in recent months, and ultimately he snapped, shot and killed her in the hospital, and went and shot himself

I guess this goes to show you that you could be a tough military man who can live through a war and rough military training and go on to become a trauma surgeon with a cool, calm, collected personality. But the underlying self-deprecating beta mindset can not be removed by anything external, no matter how rugged it may appear.

And really, this is my prime dilemna. Hating being alone for years on end, but not being that turned on by the idea of spending so much time and energy (not to mention funds) playing games with women that, in all honesty, i find to be lacking every ounce of intelligence i would expect from a good woman, not to mention ungrateful and ignorant of the sacrifices the ACTING man must make, everyday.

It distracts from so much to be discovered intellectually, as well as self discovery. I just feel too damn intelligent (not to mention GRATEFUL) to even bother!
