Being a guy and called "gay" nastily by a female

I'm 21, work in a grocery store and am being verbally bullied by an 18year old girl at work. She is a stranger from another department but has been calling me "gay" (in a nasty tone - nothing playfull) whilst standing with her female colleagues. I've never spoken to her before, never hit on her, never given her the "eye" or anything to provoke name calling.

She has also called me "loser" and "depressing."

Why would a girl do this to a male stranger at the workplace? Does she secretly like me and wants me to approach her or is she simply being an evil cow ???

P.s I'm not tall or handsome, I'm average looking and she is quite attractive by societies standards: slim and blonde. We all dress in the same uniforms.

And she was training me but she has an attitude like she's my boss.
I don't let her play that **** though so she acts like a bvtch.

Just call her "ugly", start attacking the way she looks and things about her. I can promise you now you'll destroy her lol.

Regardless though, she's a girl. She probably doesn't even know that she can speak; let alone know what she is saying or why she is saying it.... She obviously has deep issues and feels the need to lash out at the world to try and fix them...

Option 1: Ask her what she has against gay people. Then add, "Why are you homophobic?" Flip the leftist script around on her.

Option 2: Skip Option 1 and just tell the manager.

Edit: Yes, I agree with Atom. You can't do both. If you are going to report her to the manager, don't say anything to her.

Mike is right. Always flip the script. If you do, though, you won't be able to report her to the manager as she'll just tell the manager what you've been saying and amplify it 100X.

Does she have a physical flaw that you can zero in on? Whatever you say to her, say it in an unaffected, "James Bond" style. This attitude is more for you than for her.

You can leverage this situation around to your personal growth if you play it smart.

Why not just approach her the next time she says that, face to face, and ask her what the heck her problem is. Tell her if she keeps calling you that, you're going to get her fired.

That should shut her up.

Nothing worse than bullying, especially by females. I've been there, bro. You have to confront it. Avoiding only makes things worse.

Atom, as a mod, is screen name choice something that can be policed around here? There is a world of difference between bad taste and some sort of tribute to a mass murderer -- something I definitely don't want this site associated with.
