"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

So I was out drinking tonight and speaking to a Woman friend tonight that is the same age as me and she was telling me that some girls might first not be attracted to a guy like that, but quite often they see certain behaviours in a Male and think differently about them.

Have you ever heard of this before?

Also, lately I keep getting attention from young girls (18 up) and I feel a little bad about it, I got 2 cell numbers tonight at a bar I went too and there was one cutie that I had me eye on (her perfume had me first) that gave me some interesting looks, the first time she looked at me after this dude was mauling her and he left...and the couple I was with were like did you see that? and I said yeah I did but I am hardly going to speak to her after that dude has just pashed her right...anyways they came back and she brushed him off and then a bunch of her girlfriends came over and myself and the couple I was drinking with noticed that she was looking over at me a few times, but I kind of ignored it then when she was getting up to leave she gave me a look that said 'so why didn't you come and talk to me"?, the couple noticed it before i did.

What should have I done here?.
Man she was cute

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

so what! you still had your chance to impress her and beat that guy! you should of taken the chance quicker and beat others to it. maybe she got bored or thought you weren't interested enough and put her focus on the guy that actually had the balls to go up to her. unlucky pal, next time do it! :)

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
