"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I've had some success with online dating. But then at the same time you get stung once in a while by something and you remember again the absolute b!tch behaviour out there.

Some girl sent me a flirt message on OKCupid. She's about a 6 or 7. I thought fine I could go on a date or two with her to bang it. Had a nice back and forth conversation, got her number and told her that I'll message her when I'm back from holiday. It always took her about 6 hours to respond to a message on Whatsapp even though it's clear she read the message, but whatever didn't care.

Got back a couple of days ago. Sent her a message of happy new years and tried to arrange a date with her. She said she's busy during the week but can do Sunday evening. I thought OK great. Then she asked me where do I live (so we could arrange whereabouts to meet), gave her some specific place within London. (hardly a bad or an unwealthy area). Then I look at my Whatsapp within 2 minutes and her picture and her last online has disappeared. She deleted me based on my answer of where I live. WTF. As the old saying goes, you might as well burn the number to the ground. So I phoned her, she didn't answer. Then she phoned back 30 seconds later and asked "who is this?", I answered "from Whatsapp". She said "Oh" and she hang up.

Remember she's the one who flirted with me in the first place. What a fvcking disgusting human being.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

This is what happens when you pursue women with low interest. Hotness level is irrelevant. Ugly women who want men to chase them are laughable. Who would entertain such women but the most desperate of men?

Remember... when girls are into you.. they make things easy for you and they MAKE time for you. They follow your lead. They are submissive. You will feel in control the entire time.

As a rule.. if you have to chase.. you are in the beta b!tch zone. Don't chase, replace. This is why focusing on only one woman is weak. Shows your time is not valuable and you lack abundance.

You should be the one who has to "fit her into your schedule" not the other way around.

Men give their time away to freely. So it is not respected (or even appreciated).

This sucks, I agree. And it's the kind of stab in the back that cannot be healed with the generic "stupid slvt" rants. Two quantums of solace:
1. She weeded herself out early in the process and saved you from a date with a maybe pretty, but shallow person.
2. You can use this experience to further improve your own shopping list for women. Review and refine. All of us have criteria, but some of these are reasonable (shared interests, similar goals in life etc.) while others are just stupid (minimum height, eye color, place of residence within London).

Just a thought: Do you live anywhere near her?

There's a reasonable possibility we live close by yes. I did ask her where she lives at the end of my answer "what about u?", but then she deleted me. For the future I will just say North London and be a little more mysterious. But still that was a bit of a WTF moment, from quite possibly a massive b!tch.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
