"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

1. Go see Transformers with a few of my friends and then go home afterward, but ensures safety

2. Go with my friend to a crazy party with alcohol and with people I don't even know with the risk of getting caught/busted, but then again its 7/7/07. There will be a good balance of girls/guys there at the party, so hooking up with one isnt farfetched. Also, theres the problem that I don't have my car yet so if the party sucks i cant leave until my friends do. theres also the risk of not having somewhere to crash afterward.

i've never really been to one of these kind of wild parties with alcohol and that last late, is everyone usually pretty chill and cool and is it a relaxing enviorment where i could game a few chicks? or do you guys think its a bad idea and i should just play it safe and go see a movie with my other friends? Basicalyl ive been tired of sitting around on my ass and doing nothing this whole summer and wasting my life away and i want to get out and do something crazy to make my summer memorable, but is this going a little too far

quick replies please, I have about 25 minutes to make up my mind

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

stop bieng a ***** and go. Have fun, also if you concerned about your safety heres what you do, keep a padlock, the kind that goes on your locker @ school, if someone tried to stunt on you, get live, put that across their head and they will leave you alone quick.

If the boys in blue show up then try and be one of those people that blends into the background and don't make eye contact.

as 4 *****es, bring some rubbers, also maybe bring your own special drink so you can bait em wit it. brandy is good

Go to the movie.

Then come home and masturbate to your transformer.

You gotta take risks, and get out your comfort zone

Even if you died taking the risk, you still stepped out of your comfort zone. But either way whatever happens, happens. I highly doubt anything bad will happen, I remember the first club I went too, when I first went there was a fight and when I left there was a bigger fight. I felll and bumpped into maybe 30 people (I was a bit drunk) also fell on dudes who was making out with there gf. Not one of them ever tried to do anything.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
