I had this weird dream last night about Pirates who played baseball. Its unusual because I dont watch baseball and Im not exactly crazy about Pirates.
But I like how it sounds: "Baseball Pirates!" Like a wacky Japanese video game or anime or something. I think Japanese eat that stuff up all the time.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Haha...I feel bad for Pirate fans. They just can't compete anymore.

They sucked for like 20+ straight years never having more than 79 wins, and usually low 70s or high 60s from the early 90s til like 2013, then got good for 3 straight years mostly via drafting well from several years, but never "good enough" to make it to the World series, crashing out twice in the wild card round and once in the NLDS, and now back to sucking again for 8 years with no hope in site.

Gotta be rough being a fan of a team in a sport where only a few teams legitimately have a chance to win in any given year and even when you draft good players they are only around until they hit UFA and then get poached by big money clubs as if you are those teams farm system.
