Well, guy I've never been much into sports or rather never been much into playing them but my friend has intrested me in Baseball, and I love playing it and its interesting to me. I am 19 years old and I am a complete novice, but Im spending time playing catch and just improving my reflex's with the glove and bat.

i was wondering that if they have baseball leagues that include novices of my age of 19. My friend who is a pitcher says that at my age everything is very competitive when it comes to joining a team and league.

But I thought that I could join any team after a while, just so I can be on a team and play for fun.

Do they have leagues like that in baseball?

Try Rec (recreational) leagues that are around your area. Although a lot of people have played longer, there is always an area that is willing to help people. Maybe even going to a camp could help you greatly.

Also try starting at slow pitch softball. Usually those are just for fun and not very competetive. I reffed it at my college and let me tell you the range is from complete lack of sports skill to stars. So you will fit in.

If you could help me find some sites I could contact and see whats up.

I couldnt find any.
