the best treatment of a troll is not ban. he/she can always create new accounts. the best thing to do against a troll is ignore it's posts, threads, and don't give attention to it.

at least, humbleninja, actuality tries to make threads that spark conversation. there are a hand full of guys that do nothing but call people faggots, and throw dirt at other people and you let the roam free


it's why this forum has turned into a **** show. and then you actually start an attention whoring thread wanting to know "should you ban him". come on bro. if he broke rules, ban him. he hasn't. if you want to ban him for trolling you must ban others for trolling.

every other day a thread on this forum pops up about the direction of this forum, what's wrong with the forum. the 800 pound gorilla in the room, that people are trying to address in a passive aggressive manner is that there are too many real trolls on this forum and you guys do nothing about it.

you've turned this site into a totalitarian style website where any outside ideas or unique opinions are shamed as "attention whoring". I get blasted on alot but i never respond, not because i'm scared to do so but simply because I respect the fact that people are entitled to have different opinions on matter than I do; my opinion is not the word of god. but you don't agree with HN's style of posting, even though he broke no rules and you want to ban him? I don't even particularly like HN lol I mean i don't like him, but he's not my buddy or anything, it's just the principle of the matter.

I also find it pure hyprocisty that you want to ban someone simply for not liking his posts lol. on a grown ass man forum. but throwing dirt, calling dudes gay and talking down to other members for having opinions you don't agree with, that's all 100% DJ **** right there

i'd be more than willing for you to ban HN if it meant banning the marry trolls on this forum

even if that's the case, that's not a bannable offense. being stupid is not bannable lol. you can't ban someone because their dumb lol. And if you are going to ban HN for name calling I can put make a post a good page long with other members you'd have to ban as well.


the fact is, you don't like him. there are people on this forum I don't particularly care for either, there is nothing wrong with not liking someone. jUST DON'T READ THEIR POSTS. I don't care for mr tits all that much and i'm quite sure the feeling is likewise lol. The difference is i don't go around following all his posts waiting for him to think in a manner that i agree with. I just ignore him.

But I don't want mr tits banned just becuase I don't agree with him or I don't like him. that's childish. AS is this.


IMHO there are only 3 reasons a person should be banned


1. Not following the forum rules consistently

2. Threatening

3. Stalking


that's it. He's done none of three. calling someone a poo poo head becuase you don't agree with him is not bannable. making threads i don't like are not bannable.

When dealing with real life trolls a.k.a. sociopaths it is always the responsiblity of the group leader to ban them a.k.a. ignore them so that they leave the group.

It is impossible for anyone acting alone to kick them out because sociopaths tend to have half of the people love them and half of the people hate them. The only way I have seen it done is when the natural alpha male and the natural alpha female both decide to kick them out.

Given that this is an all male forum without a readily identifiable leader, I would say that the only thing we can do is ignore them.

Not that I'm where I want to be in life, but I working towards it. No offense but who are you to say what is considered contributing to this forum? Your rich (which is great for you man nothing wrong with that) and your married... and you were rich before you got married....

Its not conducive to anyone to hear about whats going on with your wife, and that helps no one. Would she have married you if your not rich?

Maybe you should re-assess your criteria for "contributing".

One of my big problems right now is I'm really broke, but thats my fault. If I had as much money as you I could easily go out and practice more. I could afford nicer clothes, and nicer place, I would feel much more secure financially and to me that is important, but not everything.

Just ignore trolls. Nobody forces anybody to respond to a post.

This is actually the best way to deal with trolls. However, no one can bring themselves to do it. The people who complain the most are usually the ones who contribute the most to their threads.

No offense but who are you to say what is considered contributing to this forum?

Backbreaker isn't the one who is trying to silence what other people post.
