I was just reading a guide to getting laid in different countries around the world. Somehow, halfway through the article "getting laid" gets twisted into "partying" i.e. spending time waiting in lines out in the cold at 2am and paying to go into crowded rooms where they sell expensive drinks.

It just seems like a bait and switch to me. The same is often true with online dating. The ads show pictures of happy couples pulling each others clothes off. The reality is people paying to swipe through photos of people they'll never meet.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

The swipe apps are free, so I'm not sure I understand the analogy. Also, it's pretty easy to get matches/meet girls through swipe apps...how is that bait and switch?
