"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

Hi, can anyone take a look at my plan of attracting women? Let's say I saw a HB10 at the bench one day. A= Me B= HB
Here goes:

A: Hi
B: Hi
A: What's going on?
B: Blah Blah
A; You came here to stare at (BLANK) or daydream?
B; Blah Blah
A: You telling you not here to flirt huh?
B: No , blah blah
A: mmhmm, sure So tell me, what's the craziest thing you ever done this month?
B: blah blah
A: Cuz I don't know man, flirting and fantasizing is pretty...weird to me... you I'm sayin.
B: (Blush) blah blah
A: Aren't you gonna introduce yourself or you gonna keep bluffing?
B: My name is HB
A: You seem like you here for awhile.
B: Blah Blah
A; do you have a social email?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

You see, I'm trying to be ****y and funny, and acting like if I was in a hurry like David D mentioned. Can anyone give me some honest opinion and what I could have fix?

UMMMMM, you uttered a handful of lines then asked for a 'social email'??? What are the odds of ever meeting her in the flesh again from this?

The idea of being ultra-conservative and 'getting out' of the situation before you 'mess it up' is just going to lead to hoardes of dead-ends in my opinion, even for attractive men.

Instead, I think you should mess it up a little bit. Stay in the conversation for a while. Initiate some kino. Have a few laughs. Tell her about something cool you are going to do. Trade #s so she can tag along. Talk for a few more minutes. Meet her and seal the deal. Be sure to get at least several new numbers each week until you find Mrs. Perfect for a few years or die.

Generally speaking, I like to call girls I am actually interested in and that might be fun. If I can't even get 10 minutes of productive interaction in, then I'm not satisfied she's worth my time to call. There is always exceptions to this, of course.

Something else I've discovered is that it's a good idea for me to call girls I made out with. This is counter-intuitive, because I reasoned that I'd seem not-needy if I just called them 2 days later. After doing some field testing, I've discovered this is Internet armchair rhetoric. I've been far more successful calling the girls to say goodnight and even saying something cheesy like 'just making sure you found your ride home and all'. Many girls later told me they really liked that and it took me out of 'cheesy bar makeout guy' category.
