"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

What’s up. Okay, here’s the deal…I’ll try to keep as short as possible. There’s a girl, who led me to find this site. I’ve always thought she was an attention wh0re, but all the while had my doubts that maybe I was just an AFC who didn’t know how to **** her. For any reason that this may be important, she's cute, not gorgeous, but a bit better looking than average...nothing special.

Quick Background
I met her two years ago, and she was instantly interested in constantly hanging out. I couldn’t hang out much though. So, we talked online / on the phone a lot, for hours at a time. Hundreds of times she would tell me how she was home alone, how she was drunk and alone, etc sex talk. I was a socially retarded chump, and never ****ed her. I also never touched her, aside from shaking her hand. She claimed to get along better with guys, although she had one or two good female friends.

Fast forward a bit to when I found this site. I decided I would keep her as a friend. In school, I coincidentally was roomed with one of her guy friends, or guy that she dated. I got to know him and his friends, and after a while I got tired of their immature high school behavior. They would throw food at the dinner table…these are college juniors! I spent less time with them, and eventually when they became disrespectful to me, I confronted them. Turned out they were insecure pussies who couldn’t even talk to me, they were scared ****less and backed off. Anyway, a few weeks later, I guess the girl talked with them, and they must have made some **** up behind my back and told her to stay away from me or something. Because I never heard from her for like 4 or 5 months, until now.

It is also worth mentioning that she would disappear occasionally, and I seemed to grasp that she had a pattern of contacting me most times when she was single. When she was seeing a guy, she would disappear.

…Well, she just IM’s me out of the blue, gives me her phone number and tells me to call her. I replied “ah…maybe, maybe not”

One part of me wants to prove to myself that I was an AFC then and that I can **** her, and the other part of me is saying stay the **** away, she’s trouble. She doesn’t have my number; otherwise she would have called me.

Any suggestions?

edit: btw, we hung out a few times, but other times I would flake on her a lot. I'm not sure if that's important, but just thought I'd mention it.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

I wouldn't waste my time with the past. I'm assuming she is just using you for attention and nothing more. You already are in the LJBF zone.

You said yourself she is an attention *****. If you truly are a reform AFC then then you shouldn't have to worry about what she thinks of you now.

yeah, true i'm already in the friend zone.

i was actually glad she hadn't called me for so long, so i honestly could care less what she thinks. i'm just wondering if i should try to hit it?

in other words, what is the success rate you guys have had with using your new found dj manhood to hit an attention ***** from your past?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
