"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

After thinking about it, I wish I made her make her decision on the spot and to tell her I am not some backup plan if her first does not fall through. Do you think it would be a good idea if I went up to her this week and to tell her to make her decision directly and not leave it up in the air?? I think it would make me look like I am in control and don't play her little games of being a backup plan which I don't want to be. And if I strike out, I can always try to find another girl...

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Thing is, she told me "I will go with you, BUT I don't know what (her ex-bf) is doing" In my mind I was thinking maybe he asked her already? But, she looked right at me when she said it, and I believed her. Everything you hear and read is that women will make excuses for you to make the "rejection" seem better for you. To me, it seems like maybe she will really think about it and give me a fair chance in maybe I will be her pick. Did she do a good job selling to me that I had a chance or do you think she is considering her options between me and her ex who is now her friend??

Well guys, today we talked about the prom and she has decided to go with me. I told her I would think about it for the day, then get back to her. I told her I'd go with her and inside myself, I knew she was going to let me know. Honestly though, I always thought when a girl makes an excuse it usually is a no, but I guess maybe I got lucky. So I am goin to go with her and we are ridin in the same limo. Any pre-planning advice to make the next two months before the prom go smoothly?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

keep flirting, go out on dates/double dates

make sure you get your tux rented a few weeks ahead, or else it's going to cost extra.

also remember to get your corsage/boutoneire watever, 2-3 weeks earlier, or else it will cost you, or you might not even get it.

make sure all arrangements are in place.

Would I get her flowers because I think we are going as friends even though I never told her that? I would rather go as a couple somehow, but anyway she can go with me is fine. The limo ride should be fun and I am gonna also have to pay for that. I also wanted to pimp cain, haha, and some shades to make me look pimpin! I really hope all goes well and nothin goes wrong...:p

I see it as prom is your last resort thing the whole point of it is if you havn't gotten laid by then thats the night you should lose it and no one after prom should still be a virgin even the fat/ugly kids. The whole point is to spend enough money on crap that the chick will wanna have sex with you. So unless you are still a virgin just don't go to prom.

Well I am still going with the girl I tried so hard to get and finally at least got her to go with me. Took a while, but it finally happenened and I want to have a lot of fun. I don't look at it like that--if you are a virgin, you must lose it that night. I doubt it will be like that at mine, but I think you would know more than me so I will respect and evaluate your opinion.

I just want things to go well before it finally comes and I am looking forwards to May because I don't have to worry about finding a date, so its all good. Can anyone gimme a little story about how yours went and what was good/bad about it?

Thanks a lot for all of your help and I appreciate all the replies from all.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
