"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Been talking to her today about random stuff but she hasn't brought up the fight about last night. Should I ask about it??

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

No, let her inform you of the status when she is good and ready.

No, she is over valuing her self. Classic move. She assumes you want her and will come running, she is trying to play you. You need to be a challenge. If you ask her you are saying that you want her, she wins. She may not even be that interested she may jus be looking for attention. Play it cool.

If a girl told me I had a chance like that I would make it a point to diss her in the near future. Last thing you want a girl thinking is that she has you in the basket like that.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Yeah, I think that was your opening. So many different ways you could have ripped into her off the back of that.

Well you have already acted in such a way that she knows you like her for sure. I'd just keep contact to a minimum for now, then if the breakup happens have plans with other girl(s) for like 2 weeks. Don't give her any weekend time that's for sure. No immediate gratification by doing what she wants. Maybe see her on a Wednesday or something, just eat something simple or something. Then gradually move her into weekend time if she behaves well enough to earn it. She has to understand that she is competing for your time with another woman.

Since she already knows that you like her, reversing that may come out to harsh for her unfortunately. Rather make her compete for your time with another woman that you are also attracted to. Like that you can maintain that you like her, but this awesome girl you are dating is taking up your time. When she asks you what your doing tell her you are going to dating places (beach at night, cool restaurants, live shows) but leave out with who. So she has to figure your going on a date herself. By telling her the place, you are showing her you will have fun together if she ever makes it into your weekend time slots.

No no no.

Why are you waiting on the sideline like a ball boy. When you meet a girl who has a boyfriend you need to try to hookup with her within 72 hours. After 72 hours then the chances of you hooking up with her declines. Don't be one of those simp dudes over there texting her phone when she is only stringing you along for your attention. You go ahead and ask her too hookup. If she says no then you charge her to the game.

As a real man you shouldn't be waiting for her and her boyfriend to fight to hook up with her. Show yourself that you have options and you don't have to wait for her.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
