"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

this is weird. I asked this one chick out a few months ago, she declined. Then one of her friends was talking to me (at the time I didn't know who she was), and she asked me if I knew who the girl was. I said yeah, I even asked her out, but she said she had a boyfriend. Well that girl went back and told her.... and she came back and told me that she liked me... I just didn't try hard enough.

wtf does that mean?

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Who really knows what conversation these two girls had? You asked her out and she declined - thats all you need to know.

If she is too stupid to accept the date trying to play some game then she isn't worth your time.

Either way - move on and don't worry about it.

Yeah man, you don't need to play stupid games like this. It's hard enough for some guys to suck up their pride and ask a girl out, let alone do it, and have her refuse, only to later claim she was interested but you didn't try hard enough? She wants a puppy, not a guy.

If she wants to go out, have it be on your terms since she couldn't handle a normal person asking her out.

In case you were wondering, yes this has happened to me, although the girl didn't say I didn't try hard enough. I don't know what her problem was, her loss.

A few months ago and you still pondering about it? She got you good man :D

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

It means that she liked you...but you didnt try hard enough mate lol.

You probably came over as too AFC, thats why she gave you the boyfriend line.

Theres another 4 billion women out there mate - why are you concerned with this one - just posting this should make you realise why she gave you the excuse in the first place.

Let it go mate

Sarge On...
Your advice sucks ass like usual. What a load of unexperienced **** you just spewed.

The girl is obviously ****ed in the head. She has a lot of mental baggage.

go tell your friend to THANK the girl for making up an excuse becuase you've met a bunch of awesome chics in the meantime that you might not otherwise have met.

lesson number 1

Chics who lie with ch*t like "i have a bf" are mentally screwed to kingdom come.

the AFC move would have been to chase after her after she told you she had a bf.

you weren't AFC in the least.

you asked, they say no, you move on.

kudos, you did the right thing.
