I have a friend whose hawaiian, he's like 1/4th white and a buncha other random asian races. He looks pretty chinese though. Anyways, he says whenever he tries to hit on a white girl, their usuall pretty cold at first, but then they tend to open up to him more once they find out he's hawaiian, a surfer, and is in a reggie band. He does pretty good with white women, though, their about a point lower on the hotness scale than the asian girls he can get with. But thats allot better than regular asian guys who have to sacrafice like 3 points on the hotness scale to get a white women.
The reason for this is cuz americans loves hawaiian culture. Their seen as relaxed, outgoing, and fun. Regular asians on the otherhand are seen as shy, dilligent, and quiete.
This just goes to show that its mostly a lack of confidence and lack of white washness thats holding asian guys back from white women. I can understand why though. Asian girls are hot, and the best way to get em is to hang out in those asian cliques( groups that only hang out with asian people). However, hanging out in an asian clique is definatly unattractive to white women.
Come to think of it, most of the Indian/south asian guys that I know that get white women easily all hang out with either white guys or a mix of races. You see this more with Indian/south asian guys cuz Indian girls are relativly unattractive (there are some hella hot ones though), so theirs nothing driving Indian guys to hang out in any Indian cliques(sp?). Have you even heard of an Indian clique?
My advice to just be yourself. Don't let race determine who you are, what type of friends you hang out with, and the type of girls you hit on.
