I've never heard of this place before, but stumbled on it in my ramblings. Somewhat of a relief realizing how pathetically clueless the "opposition" is, isn't it...

When I am feeling tired, in a teeny part of my heart, I grasp at a fantasy of a person in my life who might take charge regularly, decide all the “big” decisions for me, pave the way, and provide my basic needs for protection—always. But, I realize that this sounds uncannily like the description of a god. Does it not?

And then there's this gem of complete horse****:

One thing I know from observing and studying the natural world, is that the sovereignty of the “alpha male” is a fallacy. Many females in nature dominate. Females are often the ones who control mating decisions, who choose the nest, who have multiple partners, and who work outside of the home.

I don't know about this "wild woman [from] the rural and rugged forests..." but I grew up around animals... from bulls to goats to chickens, everything "rapes" its mate. Even roosters grow 3" spurs just to pin the hens to the ground while they go to town. If you are looking to nature for a more perfect feminine primacy or even "equality" as you so simply put it, you are looking in the opposite direction, lady.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

I don't put much weight on feminine opinions man. It always seems misguided to me.

Horse****e.

1) They do not control the mating decisions. They let the males fight it out and the stronger male bangs the female and the rest follows. Keyword here being they LET, meaning they have no say in who wins the fight = who bangs them later. And they submit to the one who bangs them, they are not "strong and independent and don't need a man" LOL

2) They do not choose the nest. They often take care of the little ones, but the nest is built by both males and females and the protection of the nest is made possible by the males in most cases while the females search for food.

3) Most mammals have multiple partners THROUGHOUT THEIR LIFE. Yes, one guy bangs the female, kids come out, they rase the kids and the female is still able to produce kids so they guys fight it out again and she has kids with the next stronger guy. They don't have multiple partners as in PLATES.

4) This "they work outside of home" is such a stupid generalization and is way too broad of a discussion to be had from this simplistic and I repeat, stupid way of saying it.

Throughout nature, most creatures have a paternal social structure.
