The ‘Dating Market’ Is Getting Worse
The old but newly popular notion that one’s love life can be analyzed like an economy is flawed—and it’s ruining romance.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
Forget the cash, the cars, and the chiseled jawlines. Female desire operates on a completely different frequency. Primal. Subconscious. Triggers that bypass her logic and hit her on a gut level. Most guys are totally blind to them.
I know because I was one of them. The overthinking. The paralysis. The silent drive home kicking yourself for freezing up. Watching average guys walk away with the girl while you stood there stuck in your own head.
Then I decoded the psychology behind what actually makes women tick. 22 hard rules. Subtle behavioral shifts that rewired my entire reality. The anxiety evaporated. Women started leaning in. Investing. Chasing.
Women are delusional and obese especially in America, Australia, and the UK where feminism is a norm. While top form smv gets attention, women have a short shelf life, and tend to blow up destroying themselves as well as family/marriage /children.great projection instantly in the 2nd paragraph.
‘If this doesn’t go well, there are 20 other guys who look like you in my inbox.’ And I’m sure they(men) feel the same way—that there are 20 other girls who are willing to hang out, or whatever,” she said.
I have many female acquaintances here in the UK, who think because they get 100 messages a day, us men do to.
its called the Apex fallacy apparently, when they've hung around with a high status guy, they presume all guys have the same options
yep loads in the UK have ABtions as easy as chucking some out of date milk awayA significant amount of women won't hesitate for baby murdering
yeah, the lack of respect for life has made this "very transactional" it's as if we're all Vietnamese nowIt all comes back to antisocial media. I remember being able to pull Hooters chicks with ease because the only competition was their older, creep customers. Now they all have online boyfriends who satisfy their attention needs. The interaction has changed as well. I used to mind**** these chicks with conversation but I rarely get a waitress who wants to chat anymore. Very transactional.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
many hooters locations are closing down anyway. Probably a combination of their waitresses being butt ugly, and the fact that guys don’t need to buy chicken wings to see a pair of boobs these days. Very antiquated business model. You’re right in that the internet changed the game considerably. It all comes back to antisocial media. Out here in the Dallas area I consider it to be the mecca of breastaurants. Twin Peaks, Bone Daddys, Tight Ends, Knockout, Hooters, Wild Pitch, Redneck Heaven, Ojos Locos...the list goes on. Some of these places you can tell some of the girls are strippers at night. Not a bad view but like I said, minimal interaction unless you're throwing money at them.many hooters locations are closing down anyway. Agree on that, I found living a soft mgtow form is the best way. This sums it up 100% (from the article): “It’s like, ‘If this doesn’t go well, there are 20 other guys who look like you in my inbox.’
So, you'd better not have a so much as a crumb on your mouth or DARE say something she doesn't like or YOU'RE OUT!
F*uck that.
Most women, who have an innate inability to make up their mind anyway, are absolutely the drivers of the Dating Bear Market. Based on my experiences with well over 100 women the past few years, no one could possible convince me otherwise.
If you just see women as a small side dish on your huge plate of food, and see them as "fun" only, you'll be fine. Keep the door open a crack in the 1-1,000,000 chance she's a keeper.
Good luck.
Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
Spot on. My ex was like this. Very successful, mother died at a young age so raised by dad to be an alpha female. That led to 2 divorces, single parent and made her a nutcase that has to see a shrink on a monthly basis.Women need to be led but the modern dating world puts them squarely in the drivers seat and most of them can't handle it. This leads to them making bad choice after bad choice because they are forced to choose which one of a hundred strangers may actually be a decent guy. They invariably choose poorly because, like a child, they are distracted by shiny objects and then we have to hear about how "there are no good guys left".
Transactional in Vietnam like this?yeah, the lack of respect for life has made this "very transactional" it's as if we're all Vietnamese now
Rollo is a curmudgeon and offers no solutions but he's nailed down the depth of hypergamy in abortion. The right to murder babies. A lot of women are disgusting.yep loads in the UK have ABtions as easy as chucking some out of date milk away
It's a delusion female narcissistic behaviour during the 2yrs of glory. Checkout Vegas, LA, NYC, eastern Europe, etc. Tons of beautiful women but each is a broken condom or cheese burger away from expired.Women need to be led but the modern dating world puts them squarely in the drivers seat and most of them can't handle it. He's one of the best insights ever to gender dynamics. Offers no prescription meaning, he can't be wrong but he calls out rsd julien and Tyler who have spent the last decade + in the trenches and media scandals. Rollo checked out before MySpace lulz.Right on. I find myself wanting to here Rollo and company go into solution based convo instead of the "work on yourself" go to the gym get good sleep and go out mumbo jumbo.
That shyt is easy to understand but actually deciphering woman speak and behavior is a different animal. But a lot of fun.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
