This article starts off being interesting talking about shifts in society and the effects of the economy on marriage rates and mens' self perception and then quickly devolves into a movie/tv show review. It's too bad.

They're all cliches and people who read these articles will think they need to conform to them just creating the reality the article is pruporting to exist. I saw traits of myself in a lot of those descriptions and am still very alpha. It's all fart and no shirt.

Sorry, but this article sounds ok, in principle, looks ok to the unobserved, but in actual fact is nothing but the menstral mindf8cker of a feminist trying another angle at painting men or a section of men out to be pathetic, compared to the perfect female model.

This women is simply stealing mainstream stuff and twisting it, to a feminist step up to the plate spin.

I got partly way through it, then it left a sour taste in my mouth.

To be honest I find the beta/alpha/omega thing pretty silly. Like anyone knows what f*ck they're talking about. Because why? WOLVES? Give me a break.

After women are finished being sluts in their teens/20s they want to settle down with a nice beta sucker who will support them financially. Instead they find that a lot of guys won't drop everything on the spot to settle down with them and break their backs to pay for everything they want. So they get upset and write articles like this one complaining about omegas.

Interesting concept about the omega males though - the guys at the bottom of the heap. Fact is, unless you're into pickup terminology, being a beta male is not that bad of a life.

There are very few guys I know that do not get laid. So the average guy IS getting some, unlike what a lot of people here seem to maintain, that it's only the elite guys who are getting any women.

Masculinity is not necessarily defined by men, just as women do not define what is feminine. At the end of the day, the number of 'ginas you tingle and/or penetrate have more to do with your level of manhood than your high score on Pac Man or what kind of beer you like..

True, however this article has major contradictions in it. The auther, claims women's feminity, has changed over the years several times...yet, masculinity has not, or more accurately, can not change.

Masculity, traditionally, is the role of the provider. She claims these men are omegas, for a lack of providing, or even trying to provide. I'd ask her one question, is her intentions to help 30 plus women, who've slutted their whole life, snag a provider at the last minute?

Perhaps, these 'omegas' are actually alphas. They don't give a crap about societies labels and just do whatever they want to in life. IE, they don't live life trying to appeal to the expectations of society and women.

So, basically, she saying feminity is allowed to change but masculitiy is not. Got it, typical feminist shaming BS.

I don't think masculinity can be defined so easily, and shamed so easily.

Prisons are overflowing with alpha males, yet, they can not provide in the tradition sense either. She conveniently left out that fact.

I agree with you, the definitions are too narrow. Alpha dominates the betas, and the omegas are discarded from the pack...hmm, which one am I? I laugh at this actually. I am NOT a pack animal.

Alpha, to me, isn't to dominate. When something goes wrong, and everyone turns to you for guidance and help, that's alpha. When you live your life your terms, that's alpha. When you can handle disrespect from others, and either turn that into respect, or walk without looking back, that's alpha. You don't have to control others, just yourself.

There's "alpha" in each one of us, we just need to unleash it.
