guess it comes back to the 80/20 thing most of the time. women are being more selective as to who they sleep with in general, over value themselves as a result of one night stands, tinder hookups with 'chads'.

video games give instant dopamine hit, no agg, no rejection etc so can believe its true. they are immersive,fun, addictive. certain games can swallow up a lot of your time.

In my opinion, it’s about young men not caring anymore about women. When women have sexual freedom, sexual options, full reproductive rights,, decide when and if when they want to have a baby, are NOT virgins, and have the power to destroy men anytime once legally married, the incentive is not there to care.

Now you take away all that stuff, then a man can start to get motivated about women. But other than that, how can a man look at a woman as anything but a blow up doll?

I understand that dating women has a lot of disadvantages and has become more difficult, but I think it's a mental issue to prefer video games to women. If guys stopped playing video games and began to improve themselves, they would be more successful with women. Playing video games is a waste of time, it's completely useless. Dopamine high? I used to play video games when I was young, until 15yo when I got laid for the first time. I've never touched a gamepad after that.

Every time I go to the gym I walk past a "gaming cafe", I see young men spending their evenings there in the dark glued to the monitor screens, I always tell myself what a bunch of losers, they should go to the gym and lift weights, develop some skills, read a book, cook, talk to women...

It's not as negative as some like to make out. Yes self improvement and building your life (to the extent you're happy with) is important, but its not a black and white case that anyone who enjoys relaxing from time to time playing video games is some kind of loser.

You can do all of those things you mention and play games if that's your thing. Obviously playing for several hours every day may be something you need to address as only so much time in a day!

Unlike dating (OLD, cold approach and clubs), video games are an enjoyable activity. Sexuality is something we are inflicted with and have to suffer from since puberty, but if you think back to your time as a kid before that, you were perfectly able to be content without it. You are just cursed by it now.

Unlike men who will admonish you to run faster and work harder in the ever escalating rat race of dating, i think most men should do the opposite. Delete OLD. Stop trying to message or give attention through antisocial media. Stop going to clubs. Cold approach enough times to be able to say youve done it, but dont force it. If you feel the need, just jack off and get back to your life.

This doesnt mean you should become an autistic slob. But men need to spend their time doing a balance of activities they personally enjoy which develop their life organically, not waste it on dating. That's my takeaway from the last decade of my life.

It's a valid choice, because women these days are basically just a form of entertainment. If women don't provide value for the time and money spent, its not surprising that men are looking elsewhere.

I spend most of my time gaming ngl but the issue is I’m an introvert and can’t stand socializing. I’ve looked for gamer girls but haven’t found any yet. Also, after sex, my body needs to recover so it’s not like I can devote days to having sex anyways. My main hobby is investing and that doesn’t take long you just start up the app, make a trade or close it without doing anything. I have too much free time because I’m very efficient so I play games
