"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Guys,

my plan today was to investigate new opportunitis and possibiltys...its mild weather out there, and I've been exploring the world of "meetup.com"

It seems to fit the bill perfectly for me... i'm on a bud shortage right now as the guys are all hen pecked, stay at home types now, and this year, although i've had new fillys in the fold, has been socially unproductive.

So, i wake up late, and starting f ucking around on the net, and generally slopping around, and here we are at 4.00pm GMT, and ive just sat here doing nowt all day....

Is an addiction to S S to blame, i certainly feel like i need a `fix` i wasnt like this last year, and was trying s hit out more, i just seem to have a comfortable existence sitting here, moaning about women whilst life passes me by...

P.s has anybody explored tthe world of meetup.com?

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Here in England it seems like every man and his dog have started a group.

I saw a f uckin mad one that i was gonna check out...it was all about tantric sex where you bang drums and have erotic touching sessions....all the women looked hot ;)

I live in the tinniest little country town.

If most people said they could sprint across their town centre in under 60 seconds it would be a gross exageration.

In my case it is genuinely true.

and the average age for the residents is 60+

Don't blame it on an "addiction" Take ownership and blame it on yourself for not getting up, taking a shower, and even coming on here in the first place. I only check this out in the morning and after I get home at night, when I have nothing else outside planned. Take ownership bro

Meetup.com used to run for free until they started charging group leaders to use the site. That's when the whole thing went down the toilet. I'm not sure if they still function that way, but I'm honestly surprised that the site is still around.

When it was free, I did use it and enjoyed the service.

Eternal, where there is a will, there is a way.

You gotta keep your ears pricked up, and dont rest on your laurels - there are always opportunities.

Dont be afraid to venture into new and unorthodox experiences - and never be satisfied, always be "on the hunt".

One thing i considered, which some folks on here may consider strange, but i really really dont give a f uck, is going on POF, searching as agirl looking for guys in your area, and then e mailing some of the other single uys in your area, asking if they were in the same boat as you, m8's kinda settled down, nobody to go hunting with etc etc. You'd be suprised on how many guys have no close m8's at all.....unfortunately another advantage that women have over us..........

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Where I live there are tons of meetup groups. I'm north of NYC so there's a lot going on here. We have lots of hiking groups, open mic nights, and pretty much any hobby under the sun. There are all sorts of singles groups too, but I have always stayed away from those because they all seem to be professional singles, essentially married to the group itself.

Eternal, how come you can't move to greener pastures? Career? Something else?
