Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
exactly. i agree 100%Dust 2 Dust said:Most women experience indirect rejections, for example:
1. The guy they want never asks them out.
2. Guy ignores her when she gives them IOI's.
3. The guy they want is already taken.
This hits it right on the head. Just to add to it, women do not count men they are not interested in as options. If a woman is approached by 19 guys she is not interested in and rejects them, she really doesn't even acknowledge them as "guys", but creeps and douches. But if number 20 is a guy she is interested in, she will be like "OMG, I found this really cute guy today!" forgetting about the last 19 other guys.Dust 2 Dust said:Most women experience indirect rejections, for example:

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
A girl can forget about most guys she talks to easily. A girl feels rejected if a high value man rejects her. If a creep rejects her, no effect.Fly By Night said:This hits it right on the head. What sounds more familiar:
"This guy tried to talk to me today, but I just didn't think we were a good match."
OR
"OMG, this weirdo came up to me today trying to talk to me. I swear he was stalking me. I told him I was late to class and ran off.
PlayHer Man said:I think most of you men here have it wrong. Women handle rejection worse BECAUSE they're not used to it. Its rare.. so when it happens it has a stronger impact. Men get numb to rejection over time if they spin plates a lot.
Also.. you guys are only thinking in terms of initial rejection when a girl first shows interest. How about f*ck and chuck rejection when you plow a girl and never call her again? What about when you dumb a girl? What about when you take her on a date and never call her back? What about when you date for a month then go ghost?![]()

You men are missing the big picture. Women rarely get rejected EARLY. Instead they get rejected AFTER men get to know them a little (or f*ck them) which is much more painful.
I have dumped more women than women have dumped me. I lack patience for relationship drama and I'm good at spinning plates.. so when a girl gets annoying I just drop her. And NO.. some of them don't"handle it well" at all. The female ego is MASSIVE.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Some people are stupid and narrowminded, thinking in terms of gender or some bullsh*t like that
