I have following situation few times. I see two girls dancing I extend the hand toward one and she accepts we dance for few songs with some conversation. Then she goes for the drink or go to friend. After few minutes that girl I was not dancing with me is checking me out many times. It always felt awkward to me to approach other girl so I never have. Do you have any field experience with approaching friend?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Do you think you have to apologise first for dancing with her friend instead of her? No you don't. Walk up to her and have a normal convo like you did with the first girl. Simple

I'm concerned by two things:
1. No one likes to know she is the second one and she knows that.
2. I do not want to look like some crazy pickup artist asking to dance every girl.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
