I'd like to hear any ideas on this as well. I was in the EXACT same situation about a month ago. I was getting out of my summer school class, while new student orientation was going on. They were giving a campus tour to a bunch of incoming students. I immediately spotted a HB8. We made EC from about 15 feet away and both locked on to eachother without looking away. As I was approaching I was getting ready to chat her up and # close her when I noticed that her dad was right by her side in this group tour. I still held EC as I was walking by and was pissed at myself for missing out on a really HB.

Well, parents have an idea what dating is all about. They usually don't object to it unless they are headcases. It can possibly be flattering for a girl to get hit on in front of her parents. Plus the parents will brag it up to everyone they know. So it is really a potential win-win situation.
