"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I've been having sleeping problems on and off so I asked around and one of the guys at my vitamin store and he made a couple of suggestions.

I picked up 5-HTP and Melatonin. Tried the Melatonin and so far I've slept like a baby.

The 5-HTP is supposed to enhance seratonin levels therefore stabilizing mood and promoting healthy sleep patterns. Gonna give it a shot eventually.

Anyone else tried these products?

I've tried both, saw little to no difference. I got on some prescription drugs: Zoloft for depression and Sonata for sleep, works like a charm.

Drug offenders do more time than child molestors, rapists, and murderers. Is this justice? Is this the American way?

Yeah, I've got a bottle of melatonin, but I've been diagnosed with insomnia by a doctor. Have you?

Melatonin works for me, but I hate medications. I usually only take when I absolutely have to.
